Does Trade Associations in China Need to Pay Income Tax?

Unlike trade associations in many developed countries, in China, any trade associations launch a profitable program and gain profit from it must pay income tax to the government.

In theory, trade associations are non-profit organization, that it is unreasonable to levies income tax from them. Nearly all associations and many scholars are appealing to cancel income tax that trade association must pay, bur right now, they must pay it as before.
